Terms of Service

By accessing or using SEO Ladders (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

SEO Ladders is an AI-powered SEO toolkit. The Service includes:

• Keyword Research, Competitor Gap, Rank Tracker, and Local SEO surfaces
• Article Writer (single and batch generation) and AutoBlog (scheduled publishing)
• Article Optimizer (scoring vs live top-10 SERP), Content Refresh (in-place rewrites), and SEO Agent (site-wide audit)
• Publishing to WordPress and arbitrary HTTPS endpoints via webhooks
• Programmatic access via REST API and an MCP server (for Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, and other MCP-compatible clients)
• HMAC-signed webhook event delivery with retry and replay

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use SEO Ladders. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account, including API and MCP usage
• Securing your API keys and webhook signing secrets — treat them like passwords
• Rotating API keys promptly if they are exposed or leaked
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Providing accurate and complete registration information

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service — including articles, images, schema, and audit reports generated through the dashboard, REST API, or MCP server. By using the Service, you grant SEO Ladders a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not use your content to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for the full statement on AI training and model use.

Programmatic access — REST API, MCP server, and webhooks — is included with your subscription. By using these interfaces you additionally agree to:

• Authenticate API requests with the bearer key generated in your dashboard, and never embed keys in client-side code
• Verify webhook signatures (HMAC-SHA256 over the raw body) before trusting event payloads
• Respect documented rate limits and per-month quotas — sustained abuse may result in throttling or suspension
• Follow the responsible-use guidelines in our docs (e.g., do not call article generation in tight loops)
• Accept that programmatic interfaces may evolve — we will provide reasonable notice for breaking changes via the docs and email

SEO Ladders operates on a subscription basis:

• 3-day free trial with full access to the Pro tier
• Single Pro plan: $69/month early-bird pricing, $99/month list price
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• Cancel anytime during trial at no cost
• We reserve the right to change pricing with notice

Pro tier monthly quotas — applied per-surface and reset on each billing cycle:

• 20 article generations (Article Writer + AutoBlog combined)
• 100 keyword research queries
• 30 competitor gap analyses
• 15 article optimizations
• 10 content refreshes
• 4 site audits (SEO Agent)
• 2 team seats

Quotas exist to keep AI costs predictable and the service fast for all users. Exceeding a surface quota returns a 429 on the API and a usage banner in the dashboard. Unused capacity does not roll into the next month.

After your trial period ends:

• All subscription payments are non-refundable
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
• No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• Your account poses security or legal risks
• You fail to pay subscription fees
• You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

SEO Ladders is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Content accuracy or third-party platform issues

You agree to indemnify and hold SEO Ladders harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Violation of these terms
• Infringement of third-party rights
• Content you create or publish

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
