Troubleshooting
Security & Best Practices
- Application Passwords are hashed and stored securely in our database
- Never share your application password with anyone
- Create a dedicated WordPress user for SEO Ladders with "Editor" or "Author" role (not Admin)
- Revoke the application password immediately if you stop using the integration
- Regularly audit your WordPress application passwords and remove unused ones
- Use HTTPS for your WordPress site to ensure secure API communication
