An enterprise module, or
a tool you can start today.
Scrunch is now part of Sitecore and sells to brands with a CDN team. SEOLadders is one plan at $97 that tracks every engine and writes the content.

The short version
Scrunch is a serious AI visibility platform that was acquired by Sitecore in June 2026, after raising $26M and growing from three to forty-nine people. It is now part of an enterprise digital experience suite rather than an independent startup, and its named customers are Lenovo, ADP and Akamai.
Its real strength is something we do not attempt: native integrations with Akamai, CloudFront, Cloudflare, Fastly, Vercel and WordPress that give server-side data on which AI crawlers actually reach your pages, and a taxonomy separating training crawlers from indexers and retrieval bots.
Its entry tier is narrower than the marketing suggests. Core is $250 a month and covers four engines. Claude and Gemini are not among them. The flagship experience platform they market hardest is not included at that tier either.
Pricing and features verified against the vendor's own pricing page on 16 September 2026. Vendors change both without notice, so check their live page before you decide.
Crawler infrastructure, or the whole SEO job
Scrunch answers whether AI systems can read your site. SEOLadders answers what to publish and whether it worked.
ScrunchIf AI systems cannot crawl your site, Scrunch sees that in a way we cannot. If the problem is that the content does not exist yet, this table explains the difference.
Where each tool fits.
What Scrunch does well
- Server-side AI crawler data through native CDN integrations, which no tool in this comparison matches.
- A bot taxonomy separating training crawlers from indexers and retrieval bots, which most tools do not attempt.
- Backed by $26M and now part of Sitecore, with Lenovo, ADP and Akamai named as customers.
- Public, self-serve pricing from $250 for brands and $500 for agencies, which is unusual at that end of the market.
- Built for enterprises that need governance, SSO and an API, all of which they offer above the entry tier.
Why teams choose SEOLadders
- We write the content. Scrunch states plainly that their platform does not publish new content.
- Claude and Gemini are included at $97 rather than reserved for Enterprise above a $250 entry tier.
- Traditional SEO is in the same subscription: keyword research, rank tracking and a weekly audit of the whole site.
- Link prospects arrive with a contact and a drafted email rather than a referral to a partner.
- One plan, no sales call, and a seven day trial.
